    What Does P0155 Mean?

An oxygen sensor for a one particular engine bank has delivered a voltage signal that is not within the accepted parameters, causing the PCM to store a trouble code and possibly illuminate the service engine soon light. Bank 2 typically denotes the engine bank of the engine block that does not contain the number 1 cylinder. S2 tells you that the fault is found in sensor 2, or the downstream sensor (aft of the catalytic converter/s).

What are the common causes of P0155 ?

To sum things up, the common causes for code P0155 are as follows:
    • Problem on the ground side of the O2 sensor heater circuit
    • Problem on the power side of the O2 sensor heater circuit
    • O2 sensor heater element has high resistance
    • O2 sensor heater element has an open circuit
What are the symptoms of P0155 ?

Symptoms of a P0155 diagnostic trouble code may include:
    • Blown fuse (if applicable)
    • Engine surge
    • Reduction in engine performance, especially at low RPM levels
    • The light may stay on or light intermittently as the DPF regenerates. The engine will be sluggish on acceleration.
How do you troubleshoot P0155 ?
    • Fix broken wires or bare wires
    • Replace the coolant temperature sensor
    • Replace the oxygen sensor
    • Replace the power control module (PCM), in the rare case that it is necessary
