    What Does P0467 Mean?

The P0647 code is a generic OBD-II trouble code that detects a problem with the A/C (air conditioning) clutch relay control circuit. The A/C clutch relay control circuit sends information to the powertrain control module (PCM), and many other control modules, such as the anti-lock brake control module, traction control module, climate control module, and instrument panel control module. When the PCM or one of the other control modules identifies that the A/C clutch relay control circuit is malfunctioning, the P0647 code will be triggered.

What are the common causes of P0467 ?
    • Rusty exhaust systems, cracked exhaust manifolds or damaged or missing gaskets or donuts will cause air leaks.
    • An air leak forward of the DPF will change the sensor readings resulting in the code
    • Faulty IMRC actuator/sensor

How do you troubleshoot P0467 ?

Deactivation of cylinders is achieved by releasing a synchroniser pin that normally interlocks the cam follower and rocker arms. P0467 code resolves the synchroniser pin is released using hydraulic pressure which is controlled by a dedicated solenoid.
