What are the common causes of P0627 ?
    • The Mass Airflow sensor is a hot wire that senses the volume of air entering the intake manifold. The computer uses this information to control fuel mixture.
    • Defective ECU strategies or components will prevent proper regeneration
    • An air leak forward of the DPF will change the sensor readings resulting in the code

How do you troubleshoot P0627 ?

There are currently two main types of cylinder deactivation used today, depending on the type of engine. P0627 code for the pushrod design which uses solenoids to alter the oil pressure delivered to the lifters. In their collapsed state, the lifters are unable to elevate their companion pushrods under the valve rocker arms, resulting in valves that cannot be actuated and remain closed.
