OBD-II Code Decreased engine performance is defined as a Intake Manifold Tuning Valve Control Circuit High

The Intake Manifold Tuning Valve allows additional air to flow through the intake at higher RPMs. If the engine computer (PCM) detects that the Intake Manifold Tuning Valve is not operating as requested, code P0662 will be set.

What are the common causes of P0662 ?

The most common cause is the faulty intake manifold tuning valve itself. Other causes could be faulty wiring to and from the valve, poor electrical connectors, or bad/dirty grounds.
